amazon finance diversity leadership summit

I participated in the Amazon Finance Diversity Leadership Summit last week, and I feel like this was an excellent opportunity to get my perspective on the leadership and community issues that affect finance diversity.

You can expect a lot of talk about the problems in finance, but I think one of the best topics to talk about would be diversity in leadership. Of course, we all know that diversity in leadership is a big issue in finance.

If you want an example of what’s wrong, look no further than the recent hiring of Steve Ballmer for Microsoft. In his first week at the helm of Microsoft he was a major disappointment because he was only in charge for an extremely short period of time. After a couple of months he was gone, and the company was left with a very ineffective leader.

Steve Ballmer’s downfall is not just due to his lack of experience, but to the fact that he was not the best choice to run a major financial company. The fact that he was a leader in both tech and finance makes me wonder if the reason he was fired was because he was so bad at the one thing that mattered in his field. And that was diversity. But I digress…

Amazon’s diversity leadership summit was a great idea. It wasn’t just a gathering of the people who actually run Amazon, but it was also a gathering of people who were in charge of other companies who happen to be in Amazon’s same business. This was great because it gave the business a much needed break from the constant scrutiny of the media and regulators. It also gave the business a much needed morale boost.

But perhaps the biggest point of the summit was the fact that it gave the business an opportunity to really get to know their leadership. Yes, they were all amazonians, but not in the company of an executive. This was a chance to get to know each other. It was also a chance for them to get to know their peers, and to learn how to work together.

One of the best parts of the summit was the fact that it provided the business with great leadership and guidance. It gave people an opportunity to learn from each other. The summit also gave the business an opportunity to give each other feedback. It was great for morale. The whole thing was an opportunity for us to learn more about the business, to get to know each other, and to get to know each other better.

This is one of the best things that I have ever seen. Amazon is a fantastic place to work. I love the diversity that is present within the workplace. Amazon is built around the idea that any business can have a core of like-minded folks who are passionate about the same things. In this case, I was able to see that they were not all just about the same thing.

We all have different passions, so that was a great way to see how Amazon is built. While we know there are certain things that we all really care about, we also know there are certain things that we don’t care about. Amazon is built around the idea that anyone can be a leader.
